I ask this because on a daily basis I see new posters in most other forums....excepr our lovely sports forum.

Do we run them out when they obviously know less than they think?

Should we try to be nicer to everyone?

I am just asking because it would be nice to have some fresh opinions down here.

Oh well fuck it if you can't hang get out.....lol

No. But I do think there are some people in here who have nothing better to do than to act like complete fuckin idiots. All they want to do is ARGUE, for no other reason than to just ARGUE. Maybe they are bored and have no life, thats not my business.

I don't know what the fuck you're talkin' about asshole!

I think it's a combination of not interested/don't know shit.

And down here in the sports forum you talk shit...that's a part of sports...and therefore ingrained into this forum.

Hell no we're not too mean in here. There is just a significant amount of inexperience and knowledge on this message board.

I became an asshole when:
1) Somebody fucks up facts (the fundamentals)
2) Breaching the fan code (rooting for the right teams, rooting against your team, being a bandwagoner/fairweather fan, etc.)
3) Refusal to give any props (people that really think 90% of the league "sucks")

I have been a lot more impressed with the San Diego (Chargers) fans than I have the Bay Area (Niners & Raiders) fans. Seems like they have a knowledge & maturity that is far advanced compared to the Bay Area folks. That being said, I sure am open (and hoping) to seeing some intelligent posts by Raider/Niner fans so I can change my mind.

I think it's good that we criticize stronly in here. Not everyone knows everything, and each individual knows more about one sport than the next. I learn about things in here from time to time, and it wouldnt happen unless people put other people on blast with solid knowledge.

Constructive criticism...
