yes, times are tough. the plant I've been working at for the last 2 plus years is shutting down permanently in about two months. over 500 people are going to be jobless.

on the other hand. my homie is opening a bar soon, so I'll have a job anyway. sucks for everyone else though.

oh yeah let's give Israel more money, another $250 million is no problem on top of the billions they get each year. But STOP PLANNED PARENTHOOD! They are the devil! They provide cancer screenings, STD testing, pap smears, etc. STOP THE FUNDING NOW! They are the reason we are in dept! And public Radio! stop the funding of the voice of the communities!

But lets give israel another quarter billion on top of the several billion they already get. Logical!

I love how the dems/republicans all they talk about is how to cut spending. But not a single one of those fucks will mention to cut funding from the military. Nope it's lets cut medicare/medicade, welfare, food stamps, public libraries, education, etc. etc. etc.
Why not cut welfare? I work hard for my money, and it burns me that 70% of people I see on welfare are not helpless, just dont want to do shit.

I want to help those who cant help themselves, but I dont want to help the majority that just dont want to do anything but be taken care of.

Ive made a ton of mistakes in my life that force me to work harder than many in my peer group. I work full time and run a business out of the house.

When I go grocery shopping, I have a strict cash budget on how much I can spend for the month, and my cousin is on food stamps and has double that!

I live in Wa. And I know that 8 years ago the jobs were everywhere. And also the handouts were plentiful. Its not my fault that people who have been getting handouts all these years, chose not to get a job when the jobs were there to get. But fuck this, Im tired of supporting those who refuse for whatever reason to get out there and make something happen!

Its sickening that they would rather get a 400 dollar welfare check, free medical, and food stamps, instead of even working a 10 dollar and hour job that will bring them in 3 times the income!

Im tired of it! Why should we enable failure??? If welfare was cut across the board, how many of those would be forced to get a job or sink? Well if they choose to sink, thats their own problem! And the ones that are left over and helpless, then by all means lets help them better than they are getting right now!

Im sick of walking into the grocery store and seeing illegal immigrants who work for cash hopping out of escalades with a pocket full of cash, 4 kids, 20 inch rims, shopping cart full of grocerys, and paying with food stamps!

Thats just a small post of whats wrong with this fuckin system.

If I can rise up from my mistakes and setbacks, then almost anyone can.

Just 2 years ago while I was getting the funds to start my business I had to work a second job on top of what I was doing already. I pulled trash and vaccumed the local DSHS office, and everyday in the lobby the trash would be filled with ciggerette packs, extra large starbucks, happy meal bags!

Yea they got it so fucking bad if they can afford 6 dollar coffee while applying for benefits!

FUCK THAT!

Look 206 your a smart guy. Just tell me why I should work my ass off to make a living, and subsidize those who don't want to work? I am all for helping the helpless, but why should I be forced to help those who don't help themselves?

Why can't a smart guy like you get all your buddys who share your views together, and donate all your money to those you want to support?

What's stopping a guy like you from finding an illegal alien and opening up your home to him and his family? Why don't you buy his family grocerys instead of forcing me to?

that's what's great about this country. No one is stopping 206 from making as much money as he wants and giving it to those he feels need it more than he does.

I'm going to keep it short cuz I don't feel like debating anything with you but you're a fool if you honestly believe the majority of people WANT to be on welfare and would rather be on welfare then to have a good paying job. No one likes being poor.

A lot of people are on welfare because of hard times, they lose their job etc or single parents who are struggling just to make it. For you to say "70% of people I see on welfare are not helpless, just dont want to do shit" suggests to me that you just pulled that number out of your ass.

Further it's not even about that you simpleton. What's going on in America is yet again the burden is being placed on the poor and working class. The rich, the military, they aren't picking up the weight for the problems THEY created. No, they are once again placing the burden on the lower classes. We as a whole suffer because of the mess these fucktards made. So while the media gets everyone debating about welfare and planned parenthood the people including you are missing the point entirely.
