I know that it is less than a month into the season and more than any other sport, baseball is a grind, but the Rangers are leading the Al West right now and are playing as good as anyone in baseball. The loss of ARod didn't seem to hurt them at all and Soriano, whether he is 23, 27, or 40 is off to a torrid start. Now personally I do not think they can sustain this pace. The Angles and the A's are far too good to lose the division to a team like the Rangers who have some major holes pitching wise still. The Mariners will most likley come around eventually too, at least enough to challenge the Rangers for third. But I think the Rangers will put in a better performance than last year. I am curious about their pitching though, if we have any fans of theirs in here.

THE 1st place Rangers are way better this year. Strictly becuz they dont have arod in the dugout hogging the limelight. its a bunch of young kids having fun and playing baseball like they should instead of actin like arod. and i'm from seattle and i dont think these sorry mariners are gonna catch first place this year and most likely will not get above .500

they are just off to a good start. theyre jets will cool off soone and Oakland will surpass them in the standings

soriano for arod, was statistically a close trade although arod is in my book by far a way better player. but it seems as if Lance Nix, Mark Texiera, Hank Blalock, and a few other youngsters are off to a good start. just look at the Cleveland Indians of the mid to late 90's you can score 10 runs per game but if you have no pitching you CANT win in the playoffs
