im trying to get a laptop. Simply for recording/editing music and going on the internet where ever i am (roadtrip, lunchbreak in my car,friends house, etc.). Everyone i talk to say "Get a Apple! Its the best there is!" I aint trying to spend over 2gs for a laptop. I know theres a lot of choices and i aint really laptop savvy. Whats so good about these laptops that people say shits all over HP, Dell, Gateway, Compaq, Toshiba, etc.? I just need some simple opinions from educated people. Ive searched the internet and all they talk about is tech specs. Can someone put them in simpler terms for me? sorry for sounding like a dumbass.

FUCK-A-MAC. PC ALL DAY EVERYDAY, LINUX shits on windows and mac. for less than half the price, i could build a laptop or computer that would shit all over a mac, would last longer, and no viruses.
can mac users answer this.... who would make a virus for a mac when it wont affect very many people as opposed to a windows computer? The goal is to infect a huge base not a small one.
