AP.9 Is Still "On The Block", A-Wax Targeted
January 18, 2006 by nando
In late 2005, we got the rugged, raw and street, "Body Shotz" album from AP.9. Proving that he is not taking this rap game as just that--a game, AP is already set to drop the follow up album, "On The Block." AP had a few things to say about the album.
"It's still me, I'm still keepin it street. This my best album to this day to me. Right now i got Husalah on there, Pretty Black of the dope game, my boy Royal T, one of my artists, a singer who I'm putting an album out on, The Dictatorz from Las Vegas which im putting out. I got my own label now Mob Shop Entertainment. Mob Figaz LLC. I got my distribution through City Hall so I'm finna get my money now. That's what's goin on."
Rumor has it, the Mob Figa is also calling out names on this new album. Who's name? None other than A-Wax, who has had a long standing conflict with Mob Figaz member Husalah.
"I don't even know dude. Whatever him and Hus have going on, they probably could have squashed that. He said my daughter name, God can't stop that, I don't give a fuck what nobody say. I'ts really on. I don't know even know this dude, what is he, a whiteboy? I don't even know this whiteboy. He got me hot though. When they had that Rap Summit, before I even got there mothafuckas was like, you got funk with A-Wax? I was like man who the fuck is A-Wax? Dutch and my boy Chuck from Done Deal was like, we gonna show you who dude is. So they brought me to dude and he was like he funkin with Hus, and whoever fuckin wit Hus fuckin with him. I was like whatever dude, I don't even know you! Fuck it nigga, it's whatever nigga. So then I walked away from that bullshit, whatever. He went and did an interview in Portland saying he called AP.9 a bitch to his face and I didn't do shit. I can't even picture that. And mothafuckas who know me know that. I'm on this nigga. He gotta live up to what the fuck he said, cause I'mma live up to it. I'm on yo ass, every song. It's not just rapping, I'm serious! I'm on you out the gate, you spoke on my daughter so I gotta see you about something. I told this nigga straight up, you got funk with Hus? I can set it up. One on one, you can fight him right now! He told me "Nah I smoke and drink too much, I don't wanna fight him." So I'mma beat him up, I'mma do alot to him, he gonna see AP.9 about somethin god damnit. I'm very serious."
On The Block is set to drop on February 21st, 2006 through Mob Shop Entertainment. Check out the flyer for the album below, click on it to see it in bigger size.
