LOl @ UConn being there...they are gonna lose at least 3 games befoere its all said and done.

I think BSU is better than most anticipated.

WF's offense is looking suspect the last 3 weeks, so dont expect to see them much longer int he coming weeks.

BYU may move in to the top 5 before too long, as their path is pretty easy save for a untested Utah team.

LOOKS LIKE USC WILL BE BACK IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IF EVERY CONTENDER HAS 1 LOSS. USC IS GETTING WAY TO MUCH RESPECT BUT I GUESS THEY COULDNT FALL OUT OF THE TOP 10 SINCE THEY WERE #1

Missouri should be 3 and lsu 4 with Texas 5 to round out the top 5 and the rest is a what ever to me...... top 5 is the best place to be for recruiting and "boosters" donating to the schools.

i think this might be the year we end up with no major conference school being undefeated. everyone is evenly matched. great year for college football!

A 1 loss SEC team whose only loss was against another quality SEC team (like Georgia's loss) > > > > > > > USC.

USC's schedule looks like shit, considering they lost @ unranked Oregon St., and the only other remaining ranked team on their schedule is a team that's faaaaaaaaalling quickly, and just lost to Boise St. At home.

What? Oregon wasnt even ranked last week, they just got back in this week after they completely pulverized WSU on the road. So technically, they are going UP, not DOWN.

And we cant get a good idea of who's schedule is what right now, for all we know, all of USC's opponents could end up 7-5 or better, with 2 other teams ranked.

Its too early to speculate at this time.

PS - im gettin sick of the "a top SEC team loses to a bottom feeder, and its depth...Pac-10 bottom feeder beats a top Pac-10 team, and the conference is weak". What kind of media spin bullshit is that?

Check this shit out:

Comparing OOC schedules of the SEC and Pac-10 this year:

Number of FCS teams played by the Pac-10 this year = 2

Number of FCS teams played by the SEC this year = 9

Number of BCS schools played in OOC by Pac-10 = 14 (only 1 rivlary game USC/ND)

Number of BCS schools played in OOC by SEC = 11 (with half of those being RIVALRY games FSU/FLA, UGA/GT, USC/Clemson)

Using Georgia as an example, they have 7 games left. 4 against ranked teams. Vandy and Florida at home, LSU and Auburn on the road. That right there, IMO, shits on USC's schedule AT THIS POINT. I'll give you that it's early, but I don't see Standford, Oregon, Oregon St., UCLA, or Arizona finishing higher than 3 of these 4 teams, and, with Vandy at the bottom of that list (#19 this wk), they might not finish higher than them.

True, but teams like Vandy, Ole Miss, and Auburn will continue to lose when the play the LSU's. FLorida, Georgia, Alabama's.

If that sustains a 8-4 Ole Miss team will STILl look better than a 8-4 OSU team, due to media biased of the SEC.

And this is only as of NOW though. IN 2 weeks, who knows where some of those teams will be in the rankings.

YOu know what i love about this too? Look at their OOC's. Ole Miss scheduled a FCS team, and two non-BCS conference (and one BCS team)schools. Meanwhile, OSU has two non-BCS conferecne teams) one of which is ranked in the top 25), and PSU. No FBS teams.

this is the same kind of shit that i have been saying all along. but sec fans dont care about this.

anyway you look at it losing to ole miss AT home is as bad as losing to oregon state on the road in my book.

but there will always be an sec bias in college football. only people on espn who even care about the pac 10 are herbstreit and corso

LOL

USC bias > > > > > > > > > > > SEC bias. LOL that shit gets horrible. USC was ranked @ number one, when there are probably about 7-8 teams better than them, IMO. That was a gift.

LOL @ that last part, too...Herbstreit and Corso ARE ON TV more than anyone else, easily; USC are GODS to them.
