My boy is getting ready to put a new engine in his 83 Cutlass but it has a v6 in it and he says he's puttin a v8 in it? is that possible he thinks its just a strait engine swap....I dont know shit but i thought it would have to be a oldsmobile engine is that true someone lace wit some car game cause I wanna let him know before he starts fuccin shit up!

i swapped a 350 oldsmobile engine with a 305 chevy engine i had in my regal. as long as its gm it should be good but a good mechanic can make anything happen. my folks rick quik did it for $350.
took about a 4-5 days

oh ok! i was tellin him it had to be Oldsmobile engine! but i guess not! so he dont need to change the tranny or anything just swap the engines?

mostly just the exhaust manifold and hard lines. but hoses and lines can be customized. most engines have the same set up for easy swap. any mechanic or auto parts store should be able to help you with that question. when it comes to cars, if you have the money, anything is possible.
