Everyone hustles and grinds chasing the elusive dream of the almighty record label deal. No where is this more prevalent than the bay area music scene where the independent musician constantly strives to get ahead. With the lack of major-label contacts and activity, we would like to present this golden opportunity to the people How valuable would it be for an artist to perform their material in front of industry executives and decision-makers??? Not only would it warrant the opportunity for a possible major label deal, but also allow an artist to get direct feedback from professionals so they can perfect their craft. Therefore we present:
THE BAY AREA A&R MUSIC/TALENT SHOWCASE
This showcase will be open to rappers, singers, dancers, actors, and comedians who are looking to make it big. We will bring this showcase to the people twice per month in order to give everyone the opportunity to get their shine We will also be rotating the companies in attendance between Ruff Ryders, Sony, Capitol, Interscope, Jive, and a host of other major labels. So what does the artist get, you ask? Here it is:
1. Artists will get to perform 6 minutes in front of label reps
2. Artists will have the opportunity to sign a management deal (if material warrants so)
3. Winners of showcases will be sent to Los Angeles or New York to compete for a major deal
4. Artists will receive feedback from labels if requested by artist.
This is the perfect experience for all artists who want to know if they have what it takes to make it big Don’t deny yourself the opportunity to have your name in lights. You’re in the big time now
