this dude has to be a legend in the City....is his show still on TV? Ever since canada got their own Food Network, they wont carry it anymore.....Used to enjoy watchin his show. He cut everything with that big ass meat cleaver, made kung fu sounds while julienning carrots.....classic:chinese::chinese::chinese:

yan can cook is a muthafuckin legend in my book. dude was funny as fuck. I remember and episode when he was lookin at the camera, cheesin and choppin up vegatables makin a beat to the sound of hit dancing at the same time. haha "DONE!"

I've seen him lately in a couple episodes of Iron Chef as a guest judge.

I use to watch him cook, on the PBS channel, on the weekends. This was back in the 90's.

Been watching him for years.

Infamous quote from Martin Yan is, "And then!" LOL! He always say's that when he's about to add a different ingredient. And always using oyster sauce LOL!

He's still around. As a matter of fact. I had the honor to meet him a few years ago at the Squid Festival in Monterey, CA.

Short little man that stood about 5'0" more or less, but a very kind gentle man.
