Anyone upgrade from a XBOX 360 Premium to an Elite?

I got the first generation XBOX 360 and just upgraded to a new 1080p TV. Now I only got 1 ethernet cord running to my room and it needs to be hooked up to my comp since the wireless signal is shitty. Anytime I wanna go on Live i gotta run the damn cord behind my closet and its just complicated..

Im thinkin about getting an XBOX 360 Elite since it has HDMI but I wanna know if it has wireless capability built in already? I read something about that before the Elite came out but I cant find any info on if it really has wireless..if it doesnt then its pointless for me to upgrade since the only reason would be for the HDMI. If not ill just end up buying the wireless adaptor for my 360 i have now. Help

nah man the elite doesn't have built in wireless you gotta buy that separate.

i made the switch from 360 to ps3, and im much happier with ps3. im postin this from ps3 right now. can you do this with 360? no.

i go on a pc to go on websites and post on message boards, i use game consoles to play games. not surf the net or watch blu-ray movies and the console with the most and best games is the 360.

Dumbest shit I've read in forever. XBL shits all over PS online and it's done so since the Xbox first came out. As far as being charged extra for hd cables and wireless controllers that's whack!, wouldn't you like the option to chose between a lesser or more expensive model instead of being forced upon an over priced system like the ps3? And thirdly, why would you want to browse the sicc or web from a console? No really, the only way I'd want to do that is if my computer was down.

i guess he was saying that because, some cats only have their consoles hooked up to their hdtvs. Personally i have all of my consoles, and my pc hooked up to my it.

He makes sense, if you already own a 360 then why buy anotha one? I'd jus buy a PS3.. Why have two of tha same consoles when you can have 2 different ones? Unless he was plannin on salein his 360 and usin that money for tha Elite.. But yeah, i'll tell you i barley use my PS3, tha WII actually gets more play then it.

I have a PS3 already and it pretty much collects dust. its just a blu ray movie player until Socom comes out. Yes I got a friend that would probably buy my 360 if i bought an Elite....I just think thats dumb that Microsoft didnt include Wifi capability in the Elite, shit PS3 and Wii do it. At this point the only reason for me to buy Elite is to switch to HDMI and have more hard drive space.........im not sure if you get much of a noticable difference going from component to hdmi though.
