Montechristo's made from my country are made from a cuban strain of tobacco. A client of mine had went to Cuba and brought me back a box of Cohibas recently, good smoke for sure. Cigars and a nice cognac or rum go hand n hand....

In 2000 i was in Havana for a month. I went to the cohiba factory myself and bought two boxes that I brought back to the US. Unless you go to the cohiba factory yourself you probably smoking a fake. There's a huge market for fake cuban cigars in cuba. Real cohibas are the shit.

^^^I hear you. Never get a cohiba from mexico unless you wanna smoke some bammer cigar with a fake cohiba ring. Cigars are like wine you could taste greatness of a pure cigar and could easily recognize the fakes....

SOME SPOTS IN MEX SELL REAL COHIBAS BUT YEAH THERES WHOLE LOTTA PEOPLE SELLIN FAKE SHIT....I GOT SOME COMIN BACK FROM MY IN LAWS NEXT WEEK. BUT YEAH FOR SOMETHING THATS ALSO GOOD BUT NOT CUBAN TRY THE RED DOT COOHIBAS. THEYRE MADE IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC....IVE TRIED MOST OF THE TOP BRAND IN CUBANS AND THERE REALLY ISNT ANY FUCKIN WITH COHIBAS...BUT IF YOU WANT SOME GOOD QUALITY ONES HERE TRY THE RED DOTS OR PADRONES....

It's acually really hard to tell the difference. Before I went to the cohiba factory myself me and my patna from UCLA went halves on a box on the street, which turned out to be fake. The fakes taste very similar to the real ones. Only a cigar smoking conouissuer(if i spelled that right i'll feel like a pimp) would be able to tell the difference.

Strictly Maduro cigars!!!

Swisher Sweets are no-class garbage cigars. As well as any cigar that you can pick up at any corner store or market. Cuban cigars are no longer the best. Anyone who has smoked a Cuban and a Dominican would know that Dominican's are much better. People just like what they can't get(Cuban cigars) and think they're the best.

So your statement is surely a matter of preference, rather than a fact. If you like a Cuban filler, a Cuban binder and a Cuban wrap, then you’re within your own right. I, on the other hand, find that a Dominican filler, with a Honduras binder, along with a Camaroon wrap, is the absolute BEST!!! If you’re a lighter cigar smoker, then you have a different taste. If you’re a Maduro smoker, then you would know the difference.
