Yeah, that's a dope song. It sounded like Short wanted to go back to the old school BORN TO MACK sound for that track. IMHO, it works--Short really sounds good when he raps fast.

Even if he does spend most of his time in Atlanta, and even if he doesn't feature Bay cats as much as he used to, I think Short's two most recent CDs have some of the best shit he's done since GETTIN' IT (1996). CAN'T STAY AWAY and YOU NASTY were hit-and-miss, and CHASE THE CAT got bogged down by too many features, but WHAT'S MY FAVORITE WORD? and MARRIED TO THE GAME are really tight if you give them a listen or two...Short can still do it when he puts his back into it...
