I FIND MYSELF GETTING TIRED OF PAYING HIGH FEES BUT REALIZE THAT EBAY RUNS THE MARKET CUZ IF YOU GO TO OVERSTOCK.COM IT IS WHACK AND NO ONE VIEWS IT AND YAHOO SAME DEAL. WISH WE COULD MAKE UP OUR OWN EBAY. WITH LESS FEES, HOW TO U ALL FEEL ABOUT DIS? FRUSTRATED BY EBAY???

i mean it was alright but when you sell a total of 500 bones worth of stuff and your ebay fees from the 500 you made is like 40 bones i think that a little steep if they took an amout for what it sold for as a whole instead of individual item probaly wouldnt be so bad like flea markets and auction houses does but ebay charges each item not as a whole . that is what gets me if you sell a cd fo 100 you pay 4 bones in ebay fees den another 4 bones in paypal fees. that an 8% cut ,and im prolly underestimating how much ebay and paypal really take on selling sumptin fo 100 bones. it is probaly a little more den dat in fees , anywhere you go no one charges 8% to 10% on just a hundred dollar sale. but since ebay know dey run da game dey got it like dat

whoa!! i always had a little style when i was selling on ebay , i would always pay my fees when i first got done listing the items i was going to sell,
and then i would pay my ebay fees first thing after i sold the items on auction to see how much they charged me for final value fees on my sales you wouldnt believe how much they charge you when you sell just like 400 worth of stuff final value fees are crazy and plus as of
feb 1st they raised the final value fees, and buy it now fees and also they raised the fees on the reserve price also.

I can see it both ways though. Yeah, ebay kicks our ass with fees and paypal (also ebay owned) does too, but where else can you literally reach millions and millions of customers, many of which are willing to pay $150 plus for a cd? They provide the most customers, the most awareness, the most search and user friendly site, the most comprehensive product base (the most sellers), so I guess they deserve their cut. Another site is only an idea that won't ever fly. We have seen tons of other auction sites try to compete and they never work. I hate it too, because ebay has the monopoly on the online auctions, but we really can't do anything about it, but pay their fees, and continue selling. They provide us too much opportunity.
