If so your thoughts on the game?

I love this game, the gameplay & graphics are awsome. the story could be a tad bit better though. the main charachtor isn't an annoying whimp (FFX) & the charachtors you join later are all pretty handy in their own ways.

How far are you?

I just defeated Gabriel & now on floor 112 of Spere 211 @ about 100 hours of gameplay (I leave my playstation on for extended amounts of time without paying it attention, so there is no way to tell how accurate the games clock actualy is)

FFXII looks like it's going to be the shit. it takes place in the same world as Vagrant Story & FFT's. 2 of my favorite games. I think FFXII will be the first FF on playstation that I will truely enjoy. FFX was good, but dissapointing at the same time. FFX2 had a good battle system & that's about it. no summons, no break attacks, & I prefer a little more organization in my stories then what it offered.

I've been waiting for Xenosaga 2 sinse I bought Xenosaga 1. (the day it came out) Only thing is I've yet to finish XS1, everytime I play it I fall asleep. the battle system is wayyyyyy too slow. hope they improved it alot.

Yeah, you have quite a bit of game left in just the main story. if you choose to do the extra shit you probably have atleast 60 hours of game left.

You won't be running around & smashing on the bosses too much longer. after you get to luther, smashing on enemies becomes pointless. espeshily with enemies that have over a million hit points a piece.

im already havin trouble with some fool named azrani or whatever the fuck right when i get to sphere company or whats that place called u fight him right away an he just kills me with all those mp attacks

what charachtors you using? what levels? have you been synthing shit?

if all else fails just use some stun bombs (they have a shitload of names, but some sort of bomb with a stun effect) & then have Fayt pull a demension door while he is stunned. you should have no problem doing atleast 10,000+ damage at this point of the game.

I just finished the whole game all the way last week. I put like 150 hrs into it, and got 45% of the battle trophies...I thought it was a cool game, the last three bosses put up a good fight even with you players at level 255, I really liked how the whole story had an atheist feel to it too.

i need to level up a bit or somethin...


i have fayt, nel (i use her as a healer), and cliff.

i think my level is around 30.....i have fayt an cliff with a orachlum thing syncd to thier weapons for +500 attk but i still only do like 3,000 damage per hit.....an thats only with cliff...fayt is even less


hmm what other things should i add to my weapons ? like sync em with what...


i need some major help.

ps: i was just playin the game for a few hours an i came to the part where sophia was doin the uninstaller thing an i had to fight like 3 bosses in a row an i died at the last one cuz he kept doing all those whirlwind tornado type things...damn.

okay do this, I just tested it out on Adray @ lvl 18 with a defualt attack of 70 & it boosted him to an attack of 9999 (highest in the game)

go back to gemity (the town before sphere with all the games & bullshit) purchase a laser weapon. (equip it if it'll boost your stats any at this point, but don't modify it at all)

go to the arena & play single battle with fayt on S class. you should be able to build up a full bonus guage & start a chain fairly quickly with triple XP & double fol. (even when you lose in the arena you still keep your chain)

complete S class.

a few tips for the single s class battles: the first 3 fights are easily won with the Long O, Short O, Short X, Short X combo.

4th fight is annoying piece of shit chimera. however most of his attacks are AAA'able. so set your AAA to stun. once chimera is stunned, combo that with your most powerfull attack. repeat & he should go down after a few minutes.

5th fight is some huge ape looking things that is a pain in the ass. so use this method: stun bomb, strongest single hit attack, run away, repeat. WATCH OUT FOR HIS ICE BEAM. if you get cuaght by that then the fight is over. if you have any anti/null ice accessories I suggest you use them.

after you finish the single battle mode on s type you will be awarded then imposing scroll.

now go to a workshop. (you can teleport to one through archives)

synth on the imposing scroll to the laser weapon to give it a +1000 ATK factor. next refine the laser weapon five times. (smith/specify plan/laser weapon R#) this will now give the laser weapon a factor of +6000 ATK.

next you need to create some boots of poweress. so take your inventors with the highest levels in crafting (the lil floating fairy bitch works well, I forgot her name) & make some. (craft/original invention w/cost of 2300-2500*/start line)

*you might have to press X on original invention quite a few times before the right cost comes up.

once you have invented a pair, make another. after you have 2 pairs refine both of them twice. (craft/specify plan/boots of poweress) this will take their ATK/DEF +5% attribute & flip it into ATK/DEF +30%.

synth 1 pair of the refined boots of poweress onto the laser weapon. this will give the laser weapon a +6000 ATK, + 30% ATK/DEF factor. equip it to Fayt (or wichever charachtor you use the most) then equip the other pair of refined boots of poweress to his accessory slot. this will sky rocket his attack to 9999 & improve defense a shitload as well.

once his base attack has improved over a few levels he should be at 9999 ATK without the 2nd pair of refined boots equiped. therefore you can aslo synth another factor onto your laser weapon.

BTW, this will cost you around 1,000,000 fol to do. but after a few battles at the arena you'll have that in no time.

yea Dimension Door is a battle skill, you should be learning it fairly quickly. it literally whipes everything out.

well im stuck in the sphere company untill i kill those 3 bosses right ? at the time gate....if you remember that

you should be able to back track through the sphere company to gemity. you shouldn't even have to go back those 5 floors, there should be teleporters that will let you rush through it hella quick.

btw as soon as you kill those 3 "bosses" they become your regular enemies.
