anyone familiar with E-MU MP7 or XL7?

I'm kind of "window shopping" for some equipment. I was
at a music store checkin' these out and they seem cool but
I wanna know more about them. For about the same price I can
get a Roland XP-60, but this MP7 might be more Ideal for me if
I can use it as a primary instrument/sequencer, I do have a DJX 2
keyboard I heard I would be able to link to it..

I don't know tho, I just need some advice to help me get the most productive equipment for the dollar, but I wanna stay within' the price of 1000-1500 for the primary peice.. help would be appretiated

AND.. I want to be able to sequence and build tracks as easily as possible

XP60 is a great powerfull machine. I make all my tracks with an XP80... great sounds... good sequencer...

The emu is nice as well.
You should go in the store and play with both
