I love bay music from 11/5 to nickatina but i just cant get into e40s music. I like some of his songs but the majority of the stuff he puts out just isnt that good to me, anyone else with me?

He is one of my favorite rappers but I can say I do like his older work in comparison to what he has now.
It is kinda weird hearin folks dis 40 especially folks from the Bay im use to NY niggas clownin, but shit now most folks out there feelin his shit too. And that means alot. Especially when they find out he is the reason why their tryin to say -izzle- at the end of every word they say.

You're correct. E-40 was a pioneer and the first to hit a home run for the bay, so he's off limits to criticize. However, that doesn't mean his music was any good.

His style is an acquired taste. It sounds like he's mumbling off beat to me, but a lot of people like it.

Im not from the bay so for me e-40 was an acquired taste....he's one of my favs, i mean he's innovative, creative, brings good concepts and subjects and his style is crazy no one else can flow like that....and he can switch it up too like when he goes slow like on "Some things will never change"

I just crack up that some cats would take tha time to post on every topic with their opinions(alot negative, some positive, but very good cause I personally like constructive criticism). I think that 40 and everyone else who gets a topic made especially about them must feel really special and loved so much that some cats would take their own precious time to post numerous pages about them(so very special). Bottom line is, I think that if you're hustling and living life to the fullest, you wouldn't have time to sit and bitch about what someone is doing or not doing, kinda like what I'm doing now(HAHA see there is some sense of humor here).
