or you could try mechanical engineering.....i work in the HVAC (heating, venitilation, and AC) industry......that's what most people did....i just happened to get the job even tho it's nothing close to what i got a degree in....lol.....

If you go to a community college, its cheaper.
If you go to a vocational school like Wyotech, its expensive, but you get your shit done in a year (I think that's the time line). You focus on the course and also its hands on.

You can also get hands on training at a Local Union for HVAC. I think that is more OTJ training.
