Anybody design web sites?

we're trying to get a website going but don't really know what route we need to go for it. drop some feedback and advise on what we need to do.

macromedia dreamweaver would be a good start, knowing some html code would help, knowing what a good site looks like a plus.

I would offer to help but I'm currently working on two other sites and they are rather large.
