The only way they would consider us as white is if they have a way to benifit for it.

Heres where us mexicans have it bad...Anything positive that has to do with the Mexican race it's looked at as positive for the hispanic or latino race, but when its negative its straight up mexican race. In other words anything bad south of the border its mexican but any thing good its credit for latinos.

Thats why I always refuse to say i'm latino or haspanic!!

^^the mexican race?..no such thing.MEXICAN is not a race,it's a nationality.Latinos/hispanics can be from different races.thats why you see labels like LATINO(non white) on applications n shit..many argentinians, mexicans, south americans, cubans are WHITE but are also considered latino.BLACK cubans, hondurans, brazilians are also labeled LATINO.get it?

Mexicans are usually from three different races.whites, native indians and the majority MEZTISOS.

I guess you didnt see what my point was.

Anything negative said about any country down south of Mexico is still looked at as a negative to Mexico or Mexicans.....anything postive about Mexico or Mexicans is looked at as a postive for latinos or haspincs.

Chi·ca·no (n.) A Mexican American.

The term "Chicano" has become popularized since its political movement in the 1960s, yet its exact origin is unknown. Writer Santiago Rodriguez explains one theory of the origin of the word: a written symbol for the sound "esh" did not exist in the Spanish vocabulary before the conquest. Consequently, the sound was written with an "x" as seen in "Mexicano," which was pronounced "Meshicano." A possibility is that the shortening of the word created the term "Chicano."

According to Matt Meier and Feliciano Rivera, authors of the Dictionary of Mexican-American History, upper-class Mexicans used the term "Chicano" to refer to lower-class Mexicans in the late 19th century. The term also was used derogatorily for Mexicans who were newcomers to the U.S. However, since the 1960s, many Hispanics use the word with dignity. Meier and Rivera say, "In its narrowest meaning, it signifies a proud militant ethnicity with connotations of self-determination, rejecting accommodation and assimilation, and favoring confrontation strategies."

LATIN MEANS EUROPEAN (ITALIAN, SPANISH, PORTUGUESE, AND FRENCH ARE REFERRED TO AS LATIN) AND HISPANIC MEANS FROM SPAIN, THATS PROLLY WHY WE ARE CONSIDERED WHITE ON SOME APPLICATIONS.
LATINOS/HISPANICS ARE SPANISH MUTTS FOR THE MOST PART

I hate how 'they' try to segregate me.

there is no 'off white' option & my skin is more of a reddish / off white.

why is there no option for that?

I'm Italian damnit, where is that option.... Why I gotta be grouped with the Germans & Scandinavians for?

We should petition the gubment to put a few more colors on the applications otherwise we are all the same color.

something like a tannish off white brownish yellow.

where the fuck is that option?

I'm tired of being stepped on.

I'm tired of being stepped on.

I'm tirrrrrrrrrrred of being steppppppppppppped onnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

Mexican is not a race It's a nationality, since grade school in Mexico they push there pride shit on fams with repeat national anthems every morning, I remember that shit when I lived out there, probably why Mexicans in the U.S see it as a race.

Everybody's parents still have the love for Mexico but not the country, It is the people that live there that they miss. All this gets youngsters and 30-40 year old's even who never lived their and always lived in the U.S, all for a corrupt country confused thinking Mexico is so great.

The corruption there is 100x worse than it is here if you think pumping up Mexico as great try getting in a car accident with a rich business man's son and see them change stop signs in their favor. They don't let folks come up unless they're working for them. My grandparents got their home raided for no fuckin reason in Sinaloa because nobody was home and the damn army busted in looking for drugs. Busted down doors with everything scattered everywhere.

I never choose a side and said U.S is perfect but if you want to compare the 2, there is no comparison in overall equal rights. Don't get me wrong there is cities in U.S are as socialist as Mexico cities and just hide it well. The problem is people don't know there rights and stay getting stomped on. Their is still a chance in the U.S to take your demand to the Supreme court where you can change the game. In Mexico you have no chance in hell but to negotiate a deal with big wigs. What about Education???? ha you don't want to go there.

In U.S you can buy your way out of somethings but in Mexico you can buy your way out of mostly everything. That's the thing you can't see. You would have to experience the injustice for yourself or take it for what its worth. If your in with the crowd of course you wont agree your adding on to the B.S socialist Hitler state. That's probably why U.S politics is starting to look like Mexico politics lately.
