I've been getting more and more into other types of music the older I get. In high school it was Bay rap ONLY. Now that I am older I like a lot of shit my parents listened too hah.

Tom Petty
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Rise Against
Green Day
to name a few.
They don't get heavy rotation like my bay rap but I listen to it from time to time.

Yes, I do like rock music. In fact, I like a little bit of music from all genres.

Does anybody remember the kids from high school who would change their whole persona based upon what music they listened to. One year, they may like rap, and hate everything else. Then country, and hate everything else. Then rock, then hate everything else. Then heavy metal, hate everything else. Then classical, hate everything else. And each year, they were the "musical authority" on what good music was. I wonder if they ever realized they were the timeless punchline.

I went to high school with this kid who used to always be one of those "fuck rap", "rap is crap" kind of kids, only listened to metal. Then one year this kid's a fucking "thug" somehow, and rap is all this fag listened to.

^ that actually sounds like me too a bit. i used to say rap is crap, and dress all nice. started kickin it with my cousin and he showed me rap i hadnt heard of. cause at that time the only rap i had heard was mtv shit. hes a thug too, and i started getting his old cloths that he gave me, so i can see how people would say i try to be a thug but its whatever. theres always a story behind things you stereotype, sometimes the story confirms your thoughts, sometimes it doesnt, keep that in mind when viewing other people
