TRUST ME...IF YOU GOT GOOD SPITS AND CAN TALK REAL GOOD. A FELONY RECORD DONT MEAN SHIT...AND YOU GOT TO KNOW HOW TO PUT IT IN YOUR APP WITHOUT MAKING IT SEEM LIKE A BIG DEAL.
U make it sound so easy. LOL!

I hear what ur saying but the job market is beyond fucked up right now. If u got a felony u really in trouble. It might be different in different citys but out here in Sac if u got a felony its gonna be hardas fuck. I don't give a fuck how much of a good mouth piece u got.

Out here 98% of the jobs drug test. 85% do background checks & won't take a felon no matter what. Some want a valid drivers lic. with no points on ur driving record. A lot of jobs out here do credit checks too. I've been fingerprinted for about 3 jobs in Sacramento.

Even most temp agencys are turning away felons. Which is a trip cuz back in the day that was where a ex-felon could go find a job but now a lot of them be showing excons the door.

There are some jobs that take ex-felons out here but Sac is such political town. Its so many rediculous politics out here when it comes to getting jobs its crazy. And if u want a decent paying job they gonna run u thru the mud for that job.

LOL if the job market is so bad and the economy is in the shitter how many companies do you think actually do those background checks? That shit costs money, if it ain't a job for the government or a big corperation i'd just chance it and lie, worst thing that could happen is you dont get the job. I'd just go to the interview not dressed like a felon, shave the shit off your face and put your best foot forward. Most companies skimp on that kind of shit.

besides that you can get your CDLs and drive trucks, my best friend has a couple felonies and he drives concrete and does pretty well for himself.

Half my friends from highschool have been to the joint at least once and most of em do alright doing construction and shit. Its all about the skills you have and how you sell yourself. I'd never tell a company that I ever committed any crime period unless its a government gig where i know they will check.

I also see u like in Arizona. Its a whole nother ball game in Cali. Ur right about puttin ur best foot foward & selling yourself but trust & believe 9x out of 10 they really are gonna check ur background out here in Sac & aren't bluffing.

As far as construction.... u gotta have construction skills. They aint taking any ole' bum off the street just cause. A ex-felon can win a job out here but they gotta be patient & persistant. My homie got forklift certified when he was in the pen & when he got out got a cool job paying good. So there are some things out there but its gonna be harder & if ur a minority its going to be harder. My brother got a wrap sheet like Lawrence Phillips & got two strikes & he's going crazy trying to find work & when he does get work child support got they hand out. Actually not got they hand out, they just dig in his pocket & take what they want.

My other brother been to jail for gangrelated murder twice & before he got an LA county job as a clerk he couldn't find shit. No one would take him.

The company I'm at did a thorough background check. I was literally getting calls every other day for 2 weeks asking deeper background questions for verification. They even verified the schools I attended and of course a drug test.

I KNOW DUDES WITH STRIKES ON THEIR RECORDS WHO HAD TO SUBMIT THEIR FINGERPRINTS, THAT HAVE COUNTY JOBS. THEY DISCLOSED THEIR RECORDS AND THEIR DEPARTMENTS HAVE OVERLOOKED THE FACT THEY HAVE FELONY'S AND WERE HIRED AND MAKE $20.00 AND UP.
WASNT HARD TO DO AT ALL, WHEN IT WAS BROUGHT UP THE REASON THEY HAD FELONIES. THEY PUT IT OUT THERE AND OBVIOUSLY SOLD THEMSELVES WELL.

CANT SEE HOW HARD THAT IS. AND IM NOT TALKING ABOUT ONE OR TWO SPECIAL CASES. I KNOW QUITE A FEW GUYS WHO HAVE DONE IT, AND ORANGE COUNTY IS CONSIDERED A REAL CONSERVATIVE COUNTY. THEIR ONLY CONCERN WAS THAT THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY FRAUD OR CASES RELATED TO THE FIELD THEY WERE IN.

WXS you're fucking delusional if you think it's easy for a felon to get a job...get real moron...
FUCK YOU DUMB FUCK...I SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES. IF YOU GOT SPITS YOU CAN GET YOURSELF A DECENT PAYING JOB. I MYSELF HAVE A GOOD JOB...AND MY HOMIES TRIP THE FUCK OUT CAUSE I DID THAT...WITH VOILENT CRIMES AND DRUG SALES ON MY JACKET...STOP BEING A SORRY PIECE OF SHIT AND USE A FELONY AS AN EXCUSE AS TO WHY YOU CANT GET A JOB.

NOW GO BACK TO YOUR WACK BOTTLE AND DIP ANOTHER ONE!!! AND I HOPE IT BLOWS UP IN YOUR FACE WHILE YOUR LIGHTING IT STUPID.
