I didn't think it was as funny as you all make it seem like, it had some funny parts. But the movie wasn't that funny as I expected it to be..

The whole Apatow bunch are awesome improver's in their movies...one of the reasons i find them so funny.

I heard the outtaked for this movie are funnier than the actual takes, so you are probably right.
