does any one know how to like put a "shine" or like a "glimmer" on an ear-ring in a picture?

Im assuming your talking about bling/flare right???? you need to find the brushes for it online.....but theres a couple that come with photoshop....shit aint that simple to just explain cuz i dont know how familiar you are with photoshop so i slapped this lil tutorial together real quicc......

choose the brush tool and right clicc on your photo....when the box to choose brushes comes up go to the arrow in the upper right corner of the box and clicc on it for the drop menu then choose assorted brushes......when it asks you if you want to open cancel or append choose append.....this will add the assorted brush presets to your current brush choices....

now you have 4 brushes you could use for a flare/bling effect here and its the two crosshatch brushes and starburst brushes....choose one of them....im going with one of the cross hatch ones here.....choose the brush and make it the size you want your bling/flare to be......

go to the bottom of your layers pallet and create a new layer...you should now have a layer 1 above your image.....clicc on this layer.....

choose white for color and go to the spot you want your flare and clicc on it once without dragging....it will probably be kinda light so stay on same spot and clicc a few more times to make it brighter/more visible......

switch to softer brush like an air brush and bring the opacity of the brush down to like 50% or lower.....

size it about the same size as your flare and clicc over it once maybe two times to give it a fuzzier more realistic look

thats the basics you can fucc with it and make it look different with one of the starburst brushes or combine the two.....apply it as you see fit for different pics.....

once you have it how you like then flatten the layers on the layers pallete (arrow in upper right corner)....

choose the dodge tool on the tool pallete and make sure it is set to highlight....

use air brush about half size as the one you used before and set opacity to about 6-12% then use to brighten up the middle of the flare and make it blend better with the pic/subject to look more realistic

like i said though these is basics you need to adjust accordingly for whatever pic your using....and you can use different flare brushes like i said theres more you can find online but i lost the link......i made this one wit a combination of the crosshatch and starburst brushes....i used adjustment layers and other techniques to refine it and make it more realistic but you have to figure that out on your own.....
