I don't even look at the entire first page. I just go to the bold.

Thats the way I do it. If its not in bold then I know nothing new was posted and as new posts come in the old shit goes to the bottom then the next page. Once its there its out of site out of mind lol....

Oh well...at least I get to bump this thread and make it stay on front for a little longer
