WTF are you a seismologist or suffa? Based on what information are you making this claim? Not only is it not the shaking that actually causes the tsunami (it's the moving of the plates and or landslides caused by the earthquake) but earthquakes of 7.1 magnitude and lower have definitely caused tsunamis in the past.
In fact the 1908 Messina earthquake was exactly a 7.1 and it caused the 2nd most deadly Tsunami in recorded history. :dead: :dead:

It doesn't even take an earthquake to cause a tsunami. In 1980 The eruption of Mt St Helens triggered a landslide that created a MEGATSUNAMI which was 260 meters height.
Your argument is void because it would be a fallacy to assume that all Bush supporters must be republicans or all republicans must be Bush supporters.
