nah, you don't gotta clear your lists, just go in itunes preferences and make it so it doesn't update your ipod everytime you plug it in. something like that anyway...also theres freeware apps out there that enable you to transfer songs from a ipod to your computer. check versiontracker.com
^^^^riiiiight...go to preferences, then iPod and switch it to manual update...then you have to drag and drop whatever songs/playlists to your iPod...east mayne...

He means to record the feed. Like remember when you were a kid and you would pop in a casette to record a mix on the radio? Kinda like that. You're recording what's played over the net into a large audio file, then later listening to it on your ipod.
