Another E-40 Sales Update

why y'all so mad at JP the 13th? the nigga just came in and spoke the real. a lot of niggas on here was talkin bout TBIB and 40 was goin triple titanium and all kinda shit. now that it ain't happenin, niggas get sour when someone speak the real?

i still feel like if E-40 was ever gonna come back and run rap, it was when he did a couple songs with Cash Money. Them niggas RAN rap, and featured nobody... so for them to feature 40 was a big ass opportunity, and he didn't do too much wit it.

my opinion is.... 1. they went real cheapskate on the video U n DAT and 2 its taking tooo damn long releasing 40s second single or any other "hyphy" song nationwide... the video budget don't mean shit i think its smart to not spend 500k or 1mil on videos BUT to avoid losing steam, we need another single put on the map...from 40 or from federation somebody that can hit BET/MTV...cuz damn.. it seems like the south silenced the bay once again almost immediately with YOUNG JOC and CHAMILLIONAIRE... that ain't a good look.

I feel you on the losing steam bit. Is there nobody else in the Bay that can put out a Single worthy on a Nationwide scale? I thought UC It by Bailey had a chance, but the video is a little low budget. Hopefully Look What I've Done for Them gets a little play, but that doesn't really help the HYPHY movement...but I guess all that really matters is some Bay cats getting shine.

Niggaz is overreacting. Tell me when is doing well on the radio charts, which means he is being exposed to new markets and his popularity is climbing. (That is why if he continues to do 10 g'z a week it aint bad, whatever number it is, aint nothing better than steady sales) TMWTG has jumped 10 spots in radio play and with U and D being sent to radio, that will boost album sales, because it will be show that he has 2 hits on the album, when most have 1 song and thats why albums die.

U and Dat is #83 on the billboard hot 100 thats a jump of 17 spots since debuting at #100 last week , and it is #15 on the Hot Rap Tracks Chart. I feel what yall sayin about the sales but yall gotta realize that TMWTG in reality wasnt that huge of a single. Look at the peak positions for your self.
U and Dat is gettin played hella much out here in LA now on Power 106 it got 101 spins last week compared to 45 on KMEL. 707 if u talk to 40 or WB BME whoever tell them to release the video today. Speakin of trillville's "Some Cut" The U and Dat video looks just like the part where dude was in the party lookin with the flashight.
