JT/Nickatina

This shit needs to happen. I don't know why Jt is trippin off Nickatina style when he's worked and appeared on cds that were far worse then any nickatina cd. And the fact that you have the word Nickatina on the feature list you will get every single nickatina nut rider in californita to buy it most just by the cd if his name is on it. Don't let nickatina do the beat and don't let him come soft either. Put together some classic fillmoe shit. No other features apply to this song.

make it happen, no Nick Peace beat. Let Nickatina or yourself produce it, some old school frisco fillmore style to it. Something that shoulda happened back when you both were tearing it up in the moe. Fuck it make a whole album, half of just you and Nickatina, quarter of it songs with the both of you plus Filmore folks like Quinn, Messy Marv, Get Low and Done Deal. Then do a couple solos each. Shit would sell.

HELL YA! I was always wondering why yall never did. One thing you gotta do tho, make sure YOU handle the production. Don't let Nickatina's production team even come close to you. Make sure he ain't too gone on the chewy too. That'd make a classic fillmoe track right there.......

I would say yes only if JT worked on the production.... Nick Peace hasn't supported Nickatina's original sound enough (in my opinion)... Granted Nickatina is no longer the Dre Dog many of us grew up with, his new flo can still vibe on some trunk stompin beats....

JT, I say "yes" definitely consider doin' a track w/Nickatina... But put this into consideration... Make the track have meaning, don't just do it to do it, but actaully come together and come up with a topic or concept you both have a connection to... For example, Fillmoe... Don't just put this together because you think the fans want to hear it... In my opinon, this is overdue and I wanna see you guys do it right... I feel nowadays artists feature people that don't have the same styles just because they think it's what the fans want and it ends up turning into a shit track... But it can come out tight if the artists who both have different styles find a similar connection between eachother... Just my opinon...

Definitely two legendarians in the Frisco land should link up and do some shit just smothering the airwaves all about that Fillmoe/Frisco game.

JT, what is your honest opinion on Nickatina? From Dre Dog to 2003? You diggin Conversation with a Devil?

And fuck all this boo-hoo-hooin about Nicky's beats. CR3 got some of the fuckin tightest beats on any rap record ever recorded. Soul of a Coke Dealer will be knocked until the end of time. Fly Like a Bird too. Nick Peace is doin his thing and doin it well. Too many fuckas is stuck in suspended animation on some old dre dog/1994 shit. Some niggas actually EMBRACE change and innovation and creativity, and Nickatina does this better than any rap nigga out now.

Get at him JT.

Hell yea!!! Do that shit folks!!
Yeah, do it, JT...everybody else has said it all in terms of what kind of song(s) they'd want...keep it Bay-ish, make sure the beat(s) are hard, and both of you spit your verses as raw as you individually can.

Are you planning on adding these Nickatina-laced tracks to THE MAIN EVENT? Even if you don't, you could always save them for a future project, depending on what direction your thoughts are in at the time...Stay on the grind, JT.

PEACE!
