Remember Bash's album "The Smokin Nephew"? That shit shoulda been called "Bash features every wack Mexican rapper he can find".

Even A-Wax song was complete doo-doo, and I actually buy A-Wax CDs.

The guy CAN'T RAP.

Dude is wack. His tracks are soft, they frail, brittle, you know?

Defy pretty much broke it down for ya'll "Sammy P" fans out there. The dudes raps is ass, and the hooks are awful. You hear dude trying to sing? Can't even afford a decent vocalist to lay the hooks.

WACK AS FUCK.

Alright, wait, are you comparing Sammy P to Baby Bash & A-Wax?

Come on now. Bash can actually sing and rap, Bash actually has history in the game. I don't like A-Wax's sleepy monotonous raps, but I like A-Wax's hustle. And a lot of cats respect him.

Sammy P is just gay and his music is not developed yet, I don't think his music will ever be developed. It's just bad music. That shit would get slapped down where I'm from, people wouldn't support shit that sounded bad.

Peace.

what exzactly am i doin wrong? all im doin is exposing a real hip hop artist.
"corniest funniest shit" thats hilarious...

did you even take the time to listen to his music?
You're misrepresenting him, that's what you're doing wrong. He's not taking anything back to the roots, he's a hyphy rapper...just like 3,000 other cats out here in Northern Cali. When he starts saying something in his music that is deeper than a tea saucer, then we can say he's going back to the roots. Until then, he's sittin' on the overcrowded bandwagon with everybody else out here that doesn't know how to be original.

My $0.02.

P.S. I DID listen to his music.

It's not even that though...

He's not even a "HYPHY" rapper. Honestly, he's just one of those types of people who just don't fit in. Because he has no style, no lyrics, no beats, no hooks, no nothing. He's got no heat. He's just one of the several other rappers who are fake and are trying to be "real" and are claiming to be a "real" artist.

Sammy P ain't got no fucking roots. And hey, Sammy P, if your reading this, and you really do have roots, man, you lack the talent and skill anyways, so get over yourself.

The boy got luv from JT, Snoop, Beeda...what more you want as far as havin' some big names back his shit?
Yea? Well, Kobe Soz has a Snoop verse and he's been in the studio with E-40. Do they back his shit?

Now, I'm not "hating", but here's some real spit.

Snoop Dogg has a label, JT has a label...if they back his shit, why don't they put his shit out under their labels??

The fact is, if he's on that tour with JT and Snoop, it's not because he has skill...it's because he has scrill. The rap industry is so bruised right now, that they are looking for ways to make money. How are they doing that? By capitalizing off cats with hopes and dreams of making it. These Koch "deals" are coming because some cats are breakin' bread to make it happen...it has nothing to do with SKILL!

To PAY somebody to perform at their show, is ridiculous. Granted, JT and Snoop will bring you out to perform for a bigger audience, but in the long run is it going to help you sell records? Yes, if you have the skill to sell records. At the same time, artists make most of their money by going on tour. So, why would somebody PAY for somebody to back them like that, when they should be GETTING PAID to do that?

I have a song with San Quinn and Mr. Kee...it doesn't mean they back my shit, it means that somebody at some point paid some money and put us all on the same track.

I think, if dude wants to be a rapper, he needs to be himself...go back to the drawing board, find out what his own style is, and perfect it.

Sydal... that dude JC got vocals on ya page... im feelen that shit

but anyways Sammy... its comes down to you need to get in where you fit in... even though I post on the siccness, I know my style of hiphop/ rap is not the cup of tea here... so why would i waist heavy time and energy on shit like this here?... maybe for some feedback once in awhile at most, but siccness does not generate sales

back to get in where you fit part:::: You are allowed to be from Oakland, and not be hyphy, its a more diverse town, then whats projected to the mainstream. I mean you will naturally never be the next Keak, Yuk, Fab, Clyde Carson... so business wise, where's your market? Because it obvious the music and content your doing right now, does not fit you... and that is why people are doggin it, if you came here being actually you, talken about what you really do in life, and ya true struggles this might be different, and you'd be universal enough to grab some fans here, there and overthere... cause you doen you

i listen to ya song... and you sayen shit like " hyphy, nikes out the window, hyphy this and that" but I highly doubt you at the sideshows tough like, and doen what you say...

This was honest advise, and you can take what you want from it, but I agree with Sydal about you needing to be yaself

^^They dont....
I like the way this turned out!
Sydal and N Jail...thanks you for breaking it down. That's what we were looking for as far as negative feedback. Your points are well put and respectfull for the most part now! That's all I wanted to see...less hate...more constructive criticism. If you don't like it then let us know in a more respectful way...
Thank you.

It's nothin'. There's plenty of hatred and non-constructive feedback on this board, and I try not to be part of all that. I mean, your dude doesn't sound TERRIBLE, but it just doesn't sound original. Right now, anything original out of the Bay is going to get a better response...'cause cats all over the country are not on this Hyphy tip like people out here think they are. Some dig it, but more often than not, cats are lookin' at us with a blank stare.
