Yup you got the right version...

My friend had the other version and I was pretty damn shocked, it didn't have "It's Alright" on there. I thought that other version was wack, how could you not have "It's Alright"? or "Watch your mouth"? It doesn't even have "It Aint Me". The only track I'm feeling on that other album is "Too Good"...It's nice and laid back..

LINA PRESENTS ... MOODSTAR RECORDINGS
SAVE YOUR SOUL VOL. 1 - A MUSICAL CAMPAIGN

With a strong global fan base, and a phenomenal roster of talent to back her, LINA is set to release a compilation album entitled, "Save Your Soul". The project will be the first release from her new record label MoodStar Recordings, and will feature a variety of musical genres, including LINA's signature fusion of R&B, Hip Hop & Swing.

"Save Your Soul" does just that, and more... it saves and feeds the soul of the true music lover. More than just an album, it's a musical campaign that promotes true talent and true artisty.

From Braille Method's lyrical hip-hop assault, to Hypnogaja's melodic blend of alternative rock, "Save Your Soul" is an earful of raw talent. Not only does LINA deliver a handful of new songs and collaborations, she also displays her range as a writer, authoring the majority of the compilation.

I brought up Donell Yeah I have that H Town : Ladies Edition I really feel it and still bump it. My favorite tracks on the album that standout the most to me are are #6 Beggqars Can't Be Choosey, #7 Ways To Treat A Woman, #12 Natural Woman.

By the way did you know Dino & his Fiance' passed away in February of this year in a car accident.

I'm not sure. I've looked everywhere but there is very little information.

http://www.emilymills.net/peacemagazine.jonb.html

But even with Jon funding the project and being totally committed to the group while simultaneously managing his solo career, Jack Herrera wasn't mean to be. At least not yet, if obstacles presented by his current record label, Edmonds Record Group/Epic are any indication.

"We went to Europe and took a 16 mm film camera and did like four videos in Amsterdam and just did some of the most amazing art I've ever made in my life. Then, I basically took it to my label and they just dumped on the whole thing. It was very, very unfortunate. But it let me get my vision out. Nothing can change that because the group is still gonna come out."

Who are these artists? The only R&B cd's I have are Johnny P's the Next and Sons of Funk - the game of funk. TIIIIIIIIGHT shit, I love the singin' and I love the lyrics. I'm a hit up the link to hear some lina samples. Anyone else know any good R&B, not lookin to hear no sad shit, lookin to hear some good singin, somethin that'll make ya bobb ya head as hard as bay rap does, feel me, holla. Tenk, can you list all the R&B cd's mentioned on this thread, I wanna check em all out. And could you rate em out of a 10, please include Soak Game's R&B he mentioned.

LINA- Stranger on Earth

10/10 The album is flawless in my opinion. Ain't nothing sad about this album, a few slow songs but majority are uptempo dance shit. She's got an amazing voice, and the production is hot. She raps on here also.

Soak game mentioned
Peven Everet-Studio Confessions

9/10

Slumps hard, the only knock is that the album is short.

Bilal-1st Born second

10/10

Bilal is on some other shit on this album, the production is flawless also. Dre, Saadiq, ?uest love all had a hand in Bilals solo.

Joi Star Kitty's revenge
http://www.universalmotown.com/joi/jukebox/

7.7/10

If you like the Goodie Mob production than you will feel Joi's. However her album is sexual, she ain't as hard core as little kim or Trina but she says some shit.

Heres the whole album http://www.universalmotown.com/joi/jukebox/

Juan talked about Jack Herrera which you could peep on this page.

But you must get Lina, Peven and Bilal. You can peep Joi for yourself.
