I do agree that a lot of football fans get into it just like real futbol fans. When people dress up in elaborate costumes just to go to a game, and it's either 100 degrees or negative 13, that's fan support.

Theres no real passion for the teams like in europe or south america.
And i dont blame yall either because like someone stated earlier in the thread your teams can be sold like prostitutes to another city or to anyone that pays alot of cash.
If you said this about 99% of US sports teams, I'd believe you. But that's not an all encompassing quote. Steelers, Raiders...two of the craziest groups of fans in the game. We've both killed people :)

Granted...we dont have stadiums that hold 100,000 people or anything...we dont make racist ass remarks to the players on our field...there are differences.

But honestly, when I watch sports fans in Europe going nuts over a soccer game, the only thing that really goes through my head is "society really needs to give these people more to get excited about".

Well, the thing is that Americans suck when it comes to playin against other countries...Thatz why they love the NFL, NBA, MLB...Americans always wion there. But them you look at how the US played in the Baseball World Championship - they were slaughtered. Even in Basketball, they lost the last World Championship and Olympics.

Don't get me wrong, I love watchin the NFL and NBA, but in a Football Arena, it is another world! Traveling to other cities, countries just to support your team, and at the same time havin to watch out not to get beaten or killed is sumthin else...most NFL fans wouldn't do.
