Most Americans don't have the patience for soccer, they need to see action, and in their eyes, action means scoring a lot of points. Soccer is like chess, it takes awhile but when something actually happens, it means that much more to the game. Anybody ever heard one of the Mexican announcers yell "Gol" after that shit? I swear the record was over a minute long....

You are right. And they sit on their asses eating hotdogs and are all quiet . When something happends in the game(baseball , nfl or whatever)
they stand up and applause. That pretty much sums up american clubculture. Theres no real passion for the teams like in europe or south america.
And i dont blame yall either because like someone stated earlier in the thread your teams can be sold like prostitutes to another city or to anyone that pays alot of cash. . Theres no chance in hell that will ever happen here. Overhere we stand up during the games and sing and cheer for our teams and often taunt the other team the whole 90 minutes . Its love and hate . That makes it more serious and fun at the same time . Its hard to explain and i know its hard for yall to understand. You really have to experience it live to understand what im talking about.
