2004 Olympics, to date:

France -- 341 athletes, 11 Total medals:
4 Gold, 3 Silver, 4 Bronze

United States -- 613 athletes, 34 Total medals:
13 Gold, 11 Silver, 10 Bronze

Barely 50% more athletes, and over 3x more medals.


How dare the French call anyone fat and out of shape but themselves. Even China has 416 athletes/28 Medals.

Percent of adolescents age 12-19 years who are overweight: 15%
Percent of children age 6-11 years who are overweight: 15%​

USA has highest percentage of fat teens Countries with significantly low prevalence of BMI at or above the 85th percentile were the Czech Republic, Denmark, Flemish Belgium, France, Germany, Lithuania, and Sweden

After all, that’s what’s really important…sports!
