So yesterday we had a early morning press screening for American Gangster (Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe.) The night befor another manager and myself built up the film and even though we werent supposed to we said fuck it and watched it at like 1am. This movie is easily one of the best American movies I have seen in quite awhile. The acting is great by both Washigton and Crowe and everything else about the film is damn near perfect. Ridley Scott really did an amazing job directing this movie as well. This movie will surely be in my top 3 of 2007 at years end. Make sure you check it out when it drops Nov. 2nd.

Yeah, i posted a preview of this a few months back, yet more than a few people seemed to think it was gonna suck. I happen to like Ridley Scott movies and am a Russel Crowe fan...cant say the same for Denzel, but 1 out of 2 aint bad.

I'm not much of a Denzel fan (although he has done excellent at times in his movies) but he is awesome in this movie.

Have you seen 3:10 To Yuma yet Jesse? Crowe and Bale are at their best in that movie.

I dont think anyone said he wasnt a good actor...some people just dont like him AS an actor.

I havent been to the movies since 300...that was my b-day. I dont get to the movies that often anymore unfortunetly.

i been waitin to see dis movie for da longest time, denzel and crowe are some of my favorite actors, shyts gona be dope, and i been lookin everywhere for that song they got playin in da previews, sound like jay-z rite?
