Stoudemire has told associates that he believes the Warriors could be giving up too much in the proposed deal (Andris Biedrins, Brandan Wright, Marco Belinelli and a wrangle over Stephen Curry) to guarantee that he'd be in a successful situation this season.
Two high-placed NBA sources this afternoon said that Amare Stoudemire has little interest in joining the Warriors and indicated that the likeliest scenario at this point is for him to stay with the Suns this season.

There really isn't much to like about this likeliest scenario. The Warriors need a shake-up in the worst way and at this point Amare to the Bay looked like the best option by far- so good it was pretty unbelievable.

It is not clear whether Stoudemire has expressed this to the Warriors, or relayed it to them, or if it's a change of attitude from the hectic minutes during the draft, when it was widely assumed (by me, too) that the Warriors were close to acquiring Stoudemire.

Warriors dont need that big of a shake up IMO. The roster is already loaded with young talent. I few small roster moves could help alot though.

@organizedchaos_ Posturing sounds right. But I'm told Suns owner is ticked over how GS handled Amare trade talk. May pull plug out of spite.

man fuck that shit... and fuck the sun's if they're "ticked"

they agreed to do the trade before we had Curry... and all of a sudden they don't wanna do it because we have Curry... we want Curry too... so fuck em... take it or leave it... good luck getting more than Wright, Biedrins, and Bellinelli... and good luck when Amare's contract is up and he leaves and yall don't get shit

Tomato Alley
again, 4 players, all of who have nothing but potential (no quinton ross, Wally Sczerbiak, old as fuck players) including, one of the top potential rookies in this years draft, for a guy who has not one, but two major injuries and no new contract. why the fuck do we have to look desperate? Suns need as much of a "shake-up" (OBVIOUSLY IF THEYRE SHOPPING AMARE HARDCORE AND TRADING AWAY SHAQ) not to mention they didnt make the playoffs.

you maybe right but im biased and Biendris has always a good scorer at close range. If the W's are gonna give up all these players at least get a true center.
