You should release as much material that you can on the net for people to keep. It is your most valuable tool. Records all come and go and this board doesn't cover the whole bay area, just members of siccness. Radio airplay is good, but you need to connect the dots by having product / material out in the streets as much as possible. Having available downloads will only help you since you are a new artist. This is a game where it seems easier than it sounds, but it is really harder than anything to really break in, esp. in an area where there are so many emcees and artists out there and most don't utilize the internet but are flooding the streets like crazy.

Keep it up, learn as much as you can...

DJ E ROCK, Thanks for your advice and I feel what you're saying. The internet right now is a useful tool for upcoming artists so with that in mind, I take full advantage of Myspace.com which has given me a lot. ( www.myspace.com/amkidd ) But yeah, I will release the full track in time to the public for them to keep. I'm getting some feedback from the sample so far and I've sent the full song to a few radio stations to see where it will go. I'm trying to soak in as much as I can so your advice/information is greatly appreciated and I will take it into full consideration. Thanks for taking the time to peep the track out DJ E ROCK, I will send you the full song through email from " [email protected] " today. It's going to be a high quality mp3 file ( 320kbps ) and about 8mb.

Jar, my " Bay wit it " CD Sampler is available online to order but honestly, just DL MY SHIT! haha. You can find most of my songs through any file sharing programs... but yeah dude thanks for peepin the new track out.. and you're welcome for the phone call..it was fun that night haha

Jar, we have no official plans for the album as of yet....i'm more than half way completed but we still have to get into planning. I'm hoping by this Year..right now I'm just trying to build up the momentum of the hype so the album will have a better chance of selling.
