everyone that I talked to who is a "49er fan" didnt seem to give a fuck about the new stadium location. All they talked about is theres gonna be a Mall, more bitches, near Great America, big ass TV screen in HD, TVs so you can watch outside the stadium etc etc. When I said this is the SAN FRANCISCO 49ers not the Santa Clara 49ers, they just said who cares. Fuckin fags I just wanna punch them in the fuckin face! Fans should boycott that shit! keep'em in FRISCO!

I seriously don't give a fuck. I'd rather they stay in frisco but what can you do if they need a new stadium and frisco won't work with them. They'll still be the muthafuckin' 49ers!!!!!!! Just like Dallas Cowboys don't play in Dallas and NY Jets/Giants don't play in New York state at all.

I hope what happens is Gavin Newsom and the city make up some sort of plan to just build a new stadium in HP, as everything is getting renovated, and SC voters will turn it down. Fuck a shopping mall or any of that shit, the A's made that same claim about their stadium in Fremont, thats not what the sport is about.
The 9ers should've been having a new stadium. If Eddie D didn't get caught doing shady back room gambling deals, they would've gotten done and not the Giants. Remember that they were supposed to get the 99 Super Bowl.

Its a general reflection of what has happened to the City of San Francisco over the past 10-15 years. Less single families, less children, less working class. The transients moving into SF encapsule our liberal values but have no respect or tolerance for tradition or any other measures that aren't self serving. In other words, if your gay, a bicyclist, a vegetarian, a hipster or a fashionista, you don't care about sports, and therefore you don't care if the 49ers exist in San Francisco. It makes me angry that many citizens here and the Board of Supervisors they have elected have fumbled the issue so badly that a world class city with a legendary football franchise is about to give it all up and they don't even care.
I heard some guy from the Niners on the radio this morning that said he would probably renovate the old one before building in HP.
He said that the HP deal was tied into selling a certain amount of new condos that were being built there or something.
It seemed like the deal in SC was plan A.

the city of san francisco sucks at handling deals. They shouldve thought at some point years back like 10 years back minimum that the niners would need a new stadium at some point. It didnt occur to them to start scouting areas around the city way ahead of time? There are so many empty lots in SF and abandoned warehouses or buildings.
