I hate to say it, but everytime us Tacoma folk try to throw an event, the shit goes haywire. Sure, fights are entertaining, but not when our local scene is trying to flourish. It's always some muhfuckas liquor'd up, funkin.. or out-of-towner-ass muhfuckas tryin to start some shit. I been to two events at the Area 151 in the past week and half.. been 2 big brawls.. I was out in Portland a month before wit Meezalini's people and he threw a show and had a similar problem, but someone got murdered.. he hopped onstage and spoke his mind.. and I felt dude because it's the same here. Been to a few Seattle events too and some shit popped off. I'm sure it's like this anywhere else (some worse or not), but coming from our region, this type of shit just fucks it up for our chances to get out of here. Promoters are getting scared.. and they're cutting off venues for potential events that would pop off. It ain't no love in the heart of the city.. and I don't think shit'll ever change.

When I was out there trying to push cds I almost got into it wit this dude in Tac at the Tac mall for nothing really a little bit of hating from a nigga going no where in life and there you go you got funk. Shit was handles though dude must of thought I was a pretty boy square or something. But Tac was the first place I got flashed on for doing something positive with my life(lol).
man its all good if you aint hangin in the parkin lot after 2, just get in your whip and hit the after party, or go knock somthin. dont be arguin with some cat over drunk bullshit. shit when the club close i'm tryin to smoke a stick with the homies, but mufuckas are drunk, and as long as its just squabin its cool, but when they go to the trunk dont stand there to see what happens . . dip! it's a shame but it's part of it.
yeah yeah.. I know how it goes and it goes down everywhere.. but my point was, in the scene we're in, it isn't the best way to go about things when we're trying to surface.. plus, if security would actually do their job, events would go much smoother.. I know there's gonna be funk no matter where you go.. but there's bigger and better ways of keepin it under control ya dig??
