so....is there anything besides comcast? I was lied to (again) about my rates and what they would be....they said $129.99 for the $99.99 triple bullshit plan since I was already being raped as an existing customer and wanted to continue with the features I had.....well I got my $160something bill and they said "I'm sorry, but all I can do for you is say I'm sorry" the bastard even said
"ma'am" twice :angry: the first time he said it he was apologetic and quickly returned to calling me sir. the next time he apologized and blamed it on "working since 11am" to which I replied "It's not even 6:30, you haven't even worked 8 hours, I just got off work where I started at 8am and I'm on my way to my second job, don't give me that bullshit about working long hours when you haven't even done a real shift yet"

fuck comcast.....they're always assholes, they overcharge for bullshit, have all these inviting ass deals that skyrocket in price on a random ass bill later.....and I can't find ANY other cable company in the bay.

I didn't even want the phone & internet, I was fine with AT&T since I rarely if ever used my home phone and was alright with dsl

I've been searching online for other providers but can't find shit. most satellite TV's want long ass contracts and the last time I had dish network the service wasn't all that good.....

i hear you.

i started paying 159.99 a month plus my hd boxes etc. its now $220 a month. i heard you can tell them you your changing to direct t.v. and they will give you the original special indefinately. i haven't tried it but yeah, fuck comcast. i can't complain about the service though. i get everything.

I HAD THAT COMCAST TRIPLE PLAN TOO, ITS BULLSHIT.........SO I HAD THE PHONE SERVICE REMOVED FEW DAYS AGO, BUT STILL GOT INTERNET & DIGITAL CABLE FROM THEM..... I CURRENTLY SWITCHED TO AT&T FOR HOME PHONE ONLY LIKE $5 A MONTH.

i dunno bout indefinitely, but this def. works... just complain and tell em your switching to astound's deal or vice versa and theyll get you a new deal. have done it multiple times lol

ask them what packages you are eligible for. my bill went up to $200+, and some 6 mo bs expired..i called them and said hey what can we do about this because i'm not paying $200 a month. they shaved off $40. :\

why not just go back to at&t?

Im startin to get annoyed by comcast. My shits been goin out every other day for the past few weeks sometimes hrs at a time, when that shit happens my phone goes out as well so i cant call them sons of bitches. This past month I got international phone charges. The mutherfuckers give me a charge when I use those wetback phone cards to call Nicaragua. I had them removed when I bitched at them. And when my shit goes out and I give them hell for it all they say is well do you want someone to come check your shit out. Fuck that they charge now for having a tech come to your pad. My bill is usually over 250 a month with that 3n1 shit.

ATT was finally put in my neighborhood a few months back and I gotta check if Surewest services the ghettos of Sac....

^ Same shit happens to me. Call 'em up and they'll credit your account at least. Or threaten to cancel and get money shaved off of your monthly like Kayvee said.

They knocked 35 offa mine per month.

I told 'em AT&T made me a great offer, even though they really didn't.

Yeah my mom said that if you call at night they don't have as many supervisors and they usually cut you a better deal. But if you bitch enough they should give you something. Im about to sign up for cable but its so expensive i am wondering if I should change my internet but I pay $30/month for phone and internet with AT&T even though I only have local calling.
