don't know what took me so long to get around to checking
this forum out. i've always respected x-raided, for his
intellect as much as his lyrics. don't know if he recalls
but he used to call over at the 1st apt. me & lynch shared;
he'd just start spitting heat over the phone; i could hear
him snapping his fingers for a beat or something to that
affect in the background. this was back in, say, '93 or
around there. i would sit there, listening to his patterns,
trying to learn what his approach was, with some vague idea
of just how historic it was to be listening to him live & direct.
it was a privelage i wouldn't fully understand until years later.
then we got the phone bill, lol...something around $200 or so.
(collect calls from jail, capeesh?) needless to say the sessions
got much shorter after that. this was back before i had put
anything on the map.
at any rate: years later x had the short-lived column in murder
dog magazine. it was his column & wendy day's & it didn't get
much more real than that.
seems x has seen the potential weapon & tool that the internet
can be. now y'all will see just how much of a force he can be
in the game. @ kaveo: y'all got my support %100. anything
i can do consider it done. @ x-raided: good to see you still
on the rader. i never doubted you wouldn't be.
