Actually it may very well be possible to stop aging. By the time you are seven years old (I think) every cell in your body is completely new from those you had when you were born. At a certain age, the cells do not replace themselves as rapidly and you deteriorate and get old. They do not know if it is genes that turn the regeneration ability off or if its from damage from radiation and toxins and stuff. If its genes then we may be able to stop the aging process.

It's quite possible that an Alien species will not be organic. Their evolutionary process would have allowed them to manipulate their own genetic make up (which humans are now in the beginning stages of) to the point where organic material will no longer be needed. So, in that sense, perhaps they wouldn't "age"

Depends on how you define species.

The way I see the future of Human Evolution is this: the human race will continue to manipulate our genes to advance ourselves, eventually incorporating more and more artificial technologies (computer chips, etc.), eventually to the point where we are no longer "human" as we know it today.

Genetic makeup could be different from how we know it today as well; perhaps if you had a strictly "robotic" type of alien race, there would exist it's own code to reproduce, similar to that of DNA, simple instructions...
