yeah Nolan shouldn't have rushed Alex Smith back in there. The team doctors should have not cleared his ass either. But still he will be called a bust.

fuck it put in Hill. We all know what Dilfer can do. Lets give Hill a shot to prove himself. Alex is banged up and u cant really blame him. Blame the coachs not teaching him good QB mechanics. Also u cant blame nolan for puttin Hostler as the OC since Norv's ass went to the chargers fucking last minute of the offseason. From what ive read Nolan tried to interview other OC's but the NFL wouldnt allow him due to deadline issues.

I wouldn't put all the blame on Alex Smith but I think he could be better with the right coaching. He has mechanical/timing issues. They could be corrected with the right coaching. Notice I said "could" as in there's a chance... but last night Vernon Davis missed a block that got Alex Smith creamed and caused a fumble. I think he could improve with the right coaching. I kind of feel bad for dude because everyone is getting on him kind of tough.
HORSESHIT HORSESHIT AND MORE HORSESHIT! More Training my ass, hes overthrowing or underthrowing and not moving around which is his GOOD point, this is something he already knew. For god sake the son of a bitch has been playing since the peewee leagues probably, how much more fuckin practice do u need? Hes a proffesional who gets paid accordingly, STEP YOUR FUCKIN GAME UP or get the fuck outta there and let someone else do the job.

They should have been callin Jake Plummer in the 3rd quarter of Dildo's first start this year. Probably could have salvaged the season with him. Alex Smith is currently the 34th ranked QB in the league with 32 teams, ouch. Then Nolan had to say this about Alex Smith's comments:

“I think that it would be a good idea if he said that to me before he said that (to the media),” Nolan said about Smith’s comments that there is lingering discomfort in his shoulder and forearm.

“I know this, everybody’s sore. I’m sore . . . has that affected my performance? Maybe, but I’m not going to talk about it. There are a lot other guys who are sore. I’m sure Derek Smith’s eyes are sore. All right?”
(From 49ersnews.com)

Talk about communication issues.

Yeah but when it's obvious your OC sucks nuts you need to make a change. He should demote Hostler and promote Jerry Sullivan. It can't get any worse. Bottom line is Hostler should have been stripped of his priveleges long ago, and a good HC would have done it already.

Damn it must be bad in Frisco when fans want their running back or receiver to take over at Qb.
I was thinking the same thing.. But the reason is we know Dilfer sucks ass and Shaun Hill is worse than Dilfer apparently. We have two former QBs in Battle and Robinson, so they would obviously be the guys the fans would like to see in there from the current roster. Personally I'd like to see them trade for a good QB next season.

Yeah you're exactly right. Nolan needs to take a page outta Brian Billicks book. If Billick fired one of his good friends, Jim Fassel, from bein the Ravens OC. Nolan needs to man up and either demote Hostler or bounce him all together, cuze he's clearly not capable. It seems like if the player/coach is a good character and hard worker Nolan will keep them around no matter how much they suck on field. Or how many bad decisions they make. I knew losin Norv was gonna ruin everything cuze he was like another head coach on the side for Nolan to take tips from. Cuze we all know Nolan is a straight defensive coach, but the more time goes I realize he really doesn't know jack shit about offense. He had to call up to the booth during the game to see how many times V.D. and Leile had gotten throwin the ball. Shit, if me and my friends and family know that off the top of our heads at home, he should have it burned in his brain. I'm fuckin losin it. I love Joe Staley, but I can't get over not havin our 1st rounder this year. We just need DeBartolo back, that's all I'm askin. Have him lace Nolan up.

He did do that, to Billy Davis last season. Nolan can't do that to the OC because he can't call the offensive plays. Billick was able to do that to Fassel because he used to be an offensive coordinator so he's able to call the offense. And we all know even if Nolan could promote another coach from within to OC, that would mean 4 OC's in the past 3.5 years and that aint good.

^I think Chad Pennington would be a good fit in Frisco. What do you think about Chad coming to Frisco?
I think Chad JOHNSON coming to Frisco would be the shit. LOL. But Pennington? I'll say this: he'd be a major upgrade over what we have right now. But he'll need at least one GOOD receiver, and we don't have that.
