Yeah, add YYY, Dan Dacon, and Beirut to my list as well.

Do you like The Black Keys RJ? If so you should check out that Dan Auerbach album. It's the guitarist/singer's solo album and it's fucking awesome.

You should check out that Abe Vigoda EP as well too. Just because they are awesome.

They are still waiting to put it out on CD from Exotic Fever. I only have it on vinyl and no means to convert it or I would for sure.

It's awesome though.

Turboslut really impressed me too so of course they go and break up last week.

I stopped following that type of music.

It's really good but when it comes to releases you're lucky to get 1 good one per month.

One day when I have a good internet connection I just have to track down and download everything I've missed out on.

Do you still use SLSK?

I'm sure that Saxon Shore will be on my list but I've only gave it a quick listen to so far so I want to give it a few more before adding it.

Sadly I personally didn't care for the new Mono at all.

wow, you listen to a lot of music. Do you listen to an album a night or something? Explain your listening routine. Car? House? computer?

And that's just from this year.

I listen to music all through out the day in general. While on the computer (like now), while getting ready for work, while cleaning the house, etc. I ride the bus to work and it takes between 20-30 minutes so I listen on there every day back and forth. When I moved to the downtown area of Seattle I sold my car so I do a lot of walking and bus riding so I have turned into one of those people you always see with headphones on. Music for me is like watching tv or a movie too. A lot of people use music as kind of background noise and might pay attention to their favorite song or two. I'll sit down and put on a album and listen to it from front to back (if it's that good that is) and just really focus on the music. Sometimes I can put on my headphones and listen to albums or certain songs while laying in bed for a hour or two (sometimes more) before going to sleep.

I've been that with with music since I was like 11-12 years old. I'd say added up I probably listen to 4+ hours of music a day on average. Some of that while doing other things as stated above though of course.

Yea, i forgot about work, and transportation to work. Thats the best time to log some listening time. Do you have a massive music collection? Or is it all on the computer

Both.

I have around 350gb of music. Most of that is stuff that is out of print or super hard to find. I just bought a 1tb external and I'm going to move all the stuff from my 250gb external and my internal to that one day when I have the time and patience.

I don't even know how many cds, tapes, vinyl I have. I collect all three. Lots of all of them. But let's just say I just spent $110 on mostly tapes about a hour ago online. These aren't like old school tapes but new ones by artists that make mostly tape/vinyl only releases.

I download most music before buying these day though. If I like the album enough I'll purchase it as well.
