He drove a Razorback Red Crown Vic with 10k worth of rims on it, had no job, and had "no idea" how he got them, while other players were overlooked and had a hard time finding their place on the U of A roster. McFadden never lived up to the hype for me, to be honest. Living in the shadow of an athlete being perked sucks, plain and simple. Some see it as necessary, whereas I do not.

The whole "who should get perks" system is flawed, and creates more underlying problems for everyone associated with a team that has a "high caliber" athlete on it that is being coddled and catered to.

see, the NCAA (and colleges) are raking in billions on the backs of free labor (college students). and college tuition being paid, while nice, should be just part of the deal. if i'm making millions for any organization, i expect to get my piece of that pie.

so perks for star (and not star) athletes are a completely necessary evil. until the corrupt NCAA system is changed. it is righting a wrong that the system has built into it.

Arkansas is a dope ass football team. playing on a big stage with a great coach.
