Airport question

I'm flying tomorrow morning out of SFO. Anyone flown recently? Are they still strict as hell on what you can carry on? Thanks.

but anyhow, my parents flew to the philippines yesterday out of SFO.... to give you an idea, i dropped them off at around 6:30-7.... but their flight was scheduled to depart at 10

if you're flying domestic and checking in bags i would get there 1.5 hours ahead, international 2.5-3 hrs. and no liquids/gels etc.(toothpaste/deoderant too) are allowed in a carry on.

Thanks for the replies. Yea, the flight's domestic and it at 7:30, were trying to be there around 5ish. How bout cell phones and ipods, not allowed?

And Jean Claude Van Dammit, i don't remember if its from Kickboxer of Bloodsport. Either way its incdredibly hyphy.

It was no problem at all this morning going thru security. But then again i went thru at like 6 am.
