airplane ticket question

i was looking for a flight 2 san antonio and everyone had the prices ranging from 377-700......i found this website where it lets you pick the price. so now my total round trip is 190........am i missing somthing??? this will be my first time flying so im new to this

I JUST WENT THERE RIGHT NOW AND CHOSE MY OWN PRICE!!!
NOW IT'S ASKING FOR PAYMENT BEFORE THEY VERIFY THEY CAN GET MY
TICCETS FOR THAT PRICE!!!

yeah i used expedia, i think. then i ended up finding out that Northwest airlines had the best prices, i got a roundtrip ticket from cali to michigan n back for 238 w/ taxes...which was fucking sick.


right smack dab in the beginning of summer (which usually has insane ticket prices), if you want help w/ cuttin down cost, try to pick weekdays to leave and arrive back, and take flights that have a lot of connecting flights.
