T-Pain didnt "start" autotune... rappers / singers have been using it long before he came on the scene... King Sandman used it on "Let It Be Known" almost 10 years ago... others were usin it even in the late 90's.
yea, T-Pain might have further popularized its' use, but he wasn't the first.
that being said, I would rather listen to Johnny P actually "try" to sing instead of rely on makin it sound fresh with autotune... when he's on his game, muthafucka has a smooth voice, last thing he needs to do is start gettin lazy and lose his mojo
