Norv Turner said the charger's second half meltdown wasn't due to leadership issues......and you think he's gonna lead the chargers to second in the division? :ermm:

I understand what your saying, but you have to agree you would be more concerned if they were fg's and not much yards (like last year)

yards are there more than last year...sooner or later stick with getting those yards and the td's will eventually come

I hear you man it just gets kinda frustratin tho!!

well... our hard part of the schedule is at the front...our offense is full of noobs and we are still getting yards out the ass, that will soon translate to points.

Chargers, the same..they will fins a groove and get going..they have too much firepower not to Norv or not.

Not talking shit or anything, but you all beat the Dolphins and the Browns, not quite like losing to Colts or Jags like we have.
please dont underestimate the browns.. we barly got by em! and the previous game before us they smacked tha bengals then yesterday they smacked the ravens! and we damn near beat yal as well if it wasnt for that "timeout".. so I wouldn't talk shit saying were 2-2 just because we beat the dolphins and browns.. u know as well as I know we should be 3-1 right now.. hell coulda even been 4-0 if we didnt let the lions take the game in tha final mins... The Raiders have been in EVERY game to the very end

not once did I say they weren't IN the games.

But beating a team like the Browns or Dolphons isn't the same as losing to Colts.

Sure you guys were IN the 2 loses...you were IN alot of games last year too.

We could get all the yards we want, but it don't mean shit if we don't get into the endzone, and it really don't mean shit if we can't tackle people and stop our opponets from chewin up our soft ass defense. We need to clean that defense up, go back to hitting in practice some fundamental tackling drills or it's only going to get worse.

Broncos - Jay Cutler making alot of inexperienced mistakes, Run defense looks horrible
Raiders - Need to get solid passing game goin and need to start putting more pressure on QB and we need to start covering alot better
Chiefs - Need to get LJ goin and Damon needs to keep finding Bowe
Chargers - Norv Turner

thats what im thinkin right now

last year was thank to the Defense.. offense couldn't even get into the endzone.. this year offense is finally scoring TDs and the running game is working.. that alone makes this team a lot better than last years.. this division is anybodies.. and if Kiffin comes in and puts the Raiders on top in his first year.. then boy look out

Again..I am not dowing the Raiders...you are right the o looks 100 x's better than last year, but that D looks worse!

Just like Denver..we are throwing up tons of yards...no td's...and that pass d is nice but no fucking run d for shit.

everyone is at 2-2 now except for the chargers....

looks like everything is going back the way it should be...

the dolts are once again the cellar dwellers.. theres Norv for you guys!

its still anybodies division.. Raiders have a good shot at winning it as much as anyone..

they are going into their bye week.. hopefully Kiffin keeps Culpepper as starter after his solid performance today and then hopefully Jordan recovers from his injury.. and we also got Rhodes coming back to spark this offense as well... LOOK OUT!
we still got a lot more improvement to do but this is def the first step. I think at 33years olds(kiffins age i believe) kiffin is doing a really nice job of tryna get that winning culture back, and start working as a "team", also his maturity and knowledge for the game is very high for such a young coach. I do believe the raiders have a much better chance of winning with culpepper as our starting QB, and rhodes/jordan combo is yet to be seen but with the way jordan is playing, it should be a goooood combo. Rhodes is kinda like jordan but faster and quicker. Ronny curry is DEF the MVP for the raiders because hes just always out there playing HARD always. Never gives up, and you can tell by him coming back from that horrible injury. Porter can def be a lot better then what he is right now and hopefully culpepper will affect his play making abilities. When the raiders played the broncos, porter really reminded me of moss because on some plays he either, just gave up, didnt run his routes correctly, or even try, but im not saying porter is a bad player at all. I just think he should put a bit more "energy" and spark to the offense because he has all the tools to be an awesome WR. The O line is def looking a lot better then last year but honestly i dont think it couldnt of gotten any worse from last year, its not the greatest O line but its def improving. The new block schemes and coaching staff has def helped them a lot. Its def showing by less sacks and jordan/fargas(hopefully rhodes) getting good rushing yards.

OVERALL, i think the raiders are some what a surprising team(its def surprised me this year, and even though its only week 4, its already passed my expectations), and hopefully its the start of something great.

GO RAIDERS!!!
