Why is this cat so under rated ? A-Wolf is the tightest dude I've heard in a while. His delivery is confident and effortless, his punchlines are on point and his choruses are witty. He's tight to me and I would put him up against anybody in the Bay lyrically.

Yuk had one tight line on that song and Quinns was cool, however if you're going to be outshined by somebody it better be to Vets like Quinn and Yuk. I would bet money that there aren't alot of dudes here that could fuck with him lyrically and that includes myself and I'm pretty sick.

How about I start you off on who I personally think can fuck with him lyrically:
Locksmith
Quinn
Mista Fab
Bailey (Fully Loaded)
Equipto

I can go on, I guess I just have to peep more of his material because you are hearing something I am not.

Locksmith (Been There Done That)

Quinn (I'm talking lyrically, Quinn is cool though)

Mista Fab (He's my folks, I guess I need to listen to more of his stuff)

Bailey (A-Wolf would eat his lunch, I don't know why you even mentioned him)

Equipto (I hear he's dope, I have to give him a listen and come back)

Hit me up on AIM, (camby savelle) I'd like to hear that track.

BTW what happened was a fluke, I would think that after 2 years now, you wouldn't hold it so highly. It wouldn't happen again. In all fairness you got me, so what? it happens.

Funny how you say I never heard of you before then. 2 years later & I still haven't bothered to listen to anything by you? Are you suggest this A-Wolf cat will follow suite?

quinn is a dope lyricistt in my opinion

one of my favorites, you don't have to spit like eminem to be a dope lyricist...

his verse on SFC was one of the dopeste ver spit, and he was only 14
his track smiling faces was amazing...

"things ain't been easy since the beasley's and the tatums" that shit was effin hard...that whole verse, but that's my favorite line

No need to argue over whose better then who. At the end of the day, who do we really make music for? We do it for ourselves!! Im sure all of you are solid in the music you make. Im not looking to be better then anyone else. I make music because I enjoy doing so. The whole point of putting Quinn and Yuk on a track was to be outshined. Shit, you better be outshined when money is coming out of your pocket for somebody elses verse. Nothing can make you better then the next MC except creativity. Its not about sounding like anyone else its about being creative in the way you choose to make your music. If you can do that, then you have already outshined everyone. It doesnt bother me if people dont feel what I talk about. But I refuse to settle for what sells at the moment, unless I would be first in line to buy it. Keep doing your thing fellas!!

Depends on the artist...if you trynna make it big...then you gotta make music for the masses...but i guess it depends on what you future plans are...

LOL what exactly does THAT mean?
Clarification: Quinn is pretty good in many areas but he kinda spits similar to me on alot of songs. A-Wolf is lyrically as good as Quinn.

disclaimer: my opinion, no need to kill me because of it. I have listened to Quinn from the beginning of his career to now and he's done well.

It's not a controversy, I like confidence in emcees. Let's say each of you had a chance to make a diss track to each other...written.....you think you could take him ? Could you take Arson or Cane in a battle ?

already stated, i feel i can take anyone in a written battle...could people beat me, of course, i'm not saying i'm unbeatable...i just have the dope punchlines
not to take anything away from any other emcee, cus that's not the only aspect, but it's my background...
i'm known for having devistating punchlines, i won sean t's punchline contest...

but like i said, every emcee has their niche,it's all about how you use it...
peace and prosperity to all
may the rap gods bless everyone
