a-wax is raw. he is one of the few rappers, along wit most notably quinn whose shit i will go out and buy without waitin to hear from other cats if the shits weak or not (mr. kee used to be in that catergory but he been lettin me down a lil bit lately). i just go buy a-wax shit cause he aint came with a weak cd yet. as far as his beats being the best. i dont agree with that shit at all. but he is somebody that can take a garbage beat and make a good song out of it (ie. "why hustle for scrill" off savage times) basically that nigga keeps me entertained. thats why i buy music. i like hearin what he got to say in his shit whether its "watch for the cat wit the fake dreads underneath the rasta cap .." or "got a bad bitch holdin my gun , too bad i got this mad bitch holdin my son ...." or whatever. i dont have to skip half the songs on the niggas albums. as far as him bein on 2pac's level? .... i'll agree but thats cause i was never a huge pac fan like that. i own more a-wax albums than pac albums. i personally think pac is overrated even if he is everyones favorite rapper's favorite rapper.

i hope i haven't upset any pac jockers who are gonna take the shit all personal like he was your 2nd cousin and shit. its all opinions. and ignore any typo's ... i'm on a good one!
